Jasmin Slatina Appointed Head Coach of RK Bosna Visoko Ekoenergija
RK Bosna Visoko Ekoenergija is embarking on a new chapter. On 8 July 2026, the club reached an agreement with Jasmin Slatina, who will take charge as head coach of the Visoko-based handball club competing in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Premier League.
The appointment of Jasmin Slatina marks an important step in the club’s continued sporting development, with a particular focus on improving performance, strengthening professional coaching and developing young handball players.
Slatina belongs to a new generation of handball coaches who place great emphasis on game analysis and modern coaching methods. He has worked closely with Bilal Šuman, former head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national handball team, analysing Scandinavian handball leagues through the XPS Network programme. He also works with the Handball.ai analytical platform.
One of his main priorities is working with young players and creating the conditions for their continuous development. Throughout his coaching career, he has made a significant contribution to the development of several players who have gone on to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at national team level.
In terms of professional qualifications, Slatina holds a Category III coaching licence under the RINCK system. He also graduated from the Faculty of Criminalistics in Sarajevo.
He has gained coaching experience at several handball clubs, including RK Željezničar, RK Olimpik, RK Briješće and ORK Bosna Sarajevo.
Jasmin Slatina and RK Bosna Visoko Ekoenergija now face new challenges, ambitious goals and an opportunity to continue building the club’s distinctive handball identity through hard work and a shared vision.
We warmly welcome Jasmin Slatina to Visoko and wish him every success in his new role, along with the achievement of all the goals set for the club!
